from a theoretical premise your exactly right in the above assertion. why should we have to ask the king permission?
the question is how would you destroy the presumption of having to carry concealed permit in a court of law?
what would be strong affadavits and/or court dialogue proceedings, if you have to lawfully protect yourself in a preceding.. were always in an uphill battle so we want to have our stuff in tact if were challenged on this.
remember there they have the guns and gatekeepers.
