Arrested for a BOE !!!!

squirrel;

What is this brusheers method your refer to? I am not familiar with that. Can you explain.

Meanwhile, I have been studying the code (specifically ILL code which is their UCC) for the cites on our CC court case motions. I found this interesting --

"(810 ILCS 5/3409) (from Ch. 26, par. 3?409) Sec. 3-409. Acceptance of draft; certified check.

(a) "Acceptance" means the drawee's signed agreement to pay a draft as presented. It must be<u> written on the draft</u> and may consist of the drawee's signature alone. <u>Acceptance may be made at any time and becomes effective when notification pursuant to instructions is given or the accepted draft is delivered for the purpose of giving rights on the acceptance to any person</u>. (b) A draft may be accepted although it has not been signed by the drawer, is otherwise incomplete, is overdue, or has been dishonored. "

So, to my eyes, this means you can take their bill/statement (their presentment) and write accepted for value and sign it and that becomes your presentment to them. This section also speaks of Documentary Draft -- which is a presentment made with conditions (ie a conditional Acceptance) According to Black's Fifth Edition -- "A 'documentary draft' is one the honor of which is conditioned upon the presentation of a document or documents" -- our VoD?

Jersee, Ice, is my critical thinking on task or have I strayed??

Thanks!
