Thank you and likewise Henry Franklin;
A couple weeks back three ex-convicts were reunited with one particularly big black fellow just out of Florence (where they are sending Mousoui (sp?)). Then a pretty 15 year old was sent by full seats back into the whole mess where the guy gave up his seat for her and began a rather disgusting display of horney. Well... full as the bus was we all froze up and she finally moved back up front when a seat became available.
But that craven feeling lingered with me for the entire afternoon. I froze up out of fear and decided that I will prefer a violent altercation, being maimed or killed to ever feeling that way again! No more for me. When she got back up in front of us, well maybe the other people were also thinking she must have felt the dread that nobody would stop this guy from anything he wanted to do.
And maybe she was right!
These kids were nothing compared to the first instance but I saw the people I would rather be riding with silenced by fear with their boisterous and foul language. So I asked them to please watch their language on public transportation. That's not too much to ask.
As far as the NannyCam goes, I have discussed it with several drivers after the horney incident and they, especially the 73 year-old fellow do not want to be knifed or shot. So they encouraged me to use the NannyCam to intimidate rowdies and punks so that they stay out of it. These punks seem to be spraypainting gang signs without the cans.
That particular driver apparently became embarrassed for calling it in. He stopped, got out and called the whole Supervisor Visit off on his cell phone. The buspunks mistakenly got off the bus and had to reboard because the bus had changed into the route they wanted. The driver told them no cussing - like reading them their rights Miranda style. And I chided them about getting off the bus too. I expected next time I saw that driver he would lecture me to keep my hands off the NannyCam. But quite the opposite - he seems to have a new respect for me instead.
Regards,
David Merrill.
So you can hear better:
"I'll let you back on but there will be no more cussin' like you were doing a while ago. You will remain silent. I'll kick you off if I hear anymore cussin' on the bus."
