ownership
Thank you; glad to share.
The older driver shared his thoughts that the cab is owned by the people. He is not going to push the odds and become the enemy of these punks. He expects the people sharing the cab to take ownership of the bus.
At 73 years I do not accept the passing of the responsibility as cowardice, morelike that we need to be responsible for the elderly, children and women around us all the time. That just comes with sovereignty and property rights - ownership. The driver on the NannyCam incident is over six feet, healthy and still was willing to let these guys stink up the cab with their foul language - - until I prodded him by hitting the (what he thought was his) NannyCam. He reported it and suddenly saw how he cried to Base over nothing and so he called off his Supervisor Visit and told the kids no more cussin'.
When I sit quiet in fear, without taking ownership of my environment (to a reasonable extent), and especially if I watch someone being victimized while doing nothing; it is like injecting myself with the flu. It makes me feel sick to the point where I am actually susceptible to getting infected. It actually knocks my immunity out of whack. And when I act, usually things turn out alright. So I am done sitting on my thumbs.
Regards,
David Merrill.
P.S. Back on track though; more about that journal on Best Buy imposters?
