Your on point
The point to my post on analyzing peoples reactions and behavior when something outside the range of their comfort zone or what is part of the "daily grind".
I find it interesting that you can WATCH on Television or in a movie something completely shocking... but when something and talk about how you WOULD react.. or it seems socially acceptable... but when it happens right in front of you... behavior and "autopilot" reactions are interesting.
On a lighter note... when someone simply does something "different" OR a group of people do something "different"... they MUST be up to something... they MUST be dangerous because they are not CONFORMING (I think that word has been used a few times by thugs on this forum) to what is around them... they are asked why they are there, why are they not conforming, what is wrong with them, etc.
As long as you follow the LAWS OF NATURE... why must you conform to what others call THEIR LAW? LAW as most of us know it is the opinion of a bunch of... usually old men... who decide what is best for each and everyone of us as we are too simple to know ourselves.
Turn around in an elevator and face the back of the elevator... watch the reactions... YOU are the wierd one on the elevator... you are the one not conforming... do you see the social training on that small level that affects the dialy opinion we have of each other?
What is the difference between facing the back of an elevator while others face the front... and discussing evidence of something that someone else is doing wrong agains others?
In some "states" it is "illegal" to walk by a "crime" as it is in "progress". It is in my opinion when you see anyone taking advantage of another, it is your responsibility to say/do something and stop them from taking advantage of another.
There is a group of men and women who are forcing nearly 2/3rds of this "country" to do things they really dont need to do. We have been trained that if you do not CONFORM, that there is something wrong with you... A group of people have gathered in teaching each other and discussing these things and want to only conform to what we individually feel is right for ourselves without the interference of others. In gathering together we are now that individual who is facing the back of the elevator...
Myself included... I think many of us are guilty of improper judgements of others because they step out of the "daily grind".
I love social experiments and would love to hear others and what they have experienced while doing that.
David, I really enjoyed your post, I think it would be fun for others to post recordings of thier experiments.
I posted some information to the admin in a PM of an experiment I did with the "CALIFORNIA BAR" that I think I may redo the experiment via voice recording as it may illustrate to others an interesting social behavior of thugs when asked specific questions that expose their poor social skills.
If anyone would like to run their own experiment of their "state bar" I can feed you a few simple questions to ask and very little research material and allow you to see how you are treated for facing the back of the elevator.
