I have heard good things about Kombucha. Dr. Robert Barefoot the "founder" of Coral Calcium (who has been chased by the FTC and the FDA for several years now) highly recommends Kombucha in his books. Since the government has labeled Barefoot as a "scam artist" I suppose you have to be skeptical somewhat of his claims, however because of what we know about the government and their interest in the pharmaceutical business and desire to put down all natural remedies (highly competitive with their drug business), I personally do not discount his claims. Barefoot even gives a formula for making the stuff (not sure if it's the same as yours). Just though this might be of interest.
