Land Patent Instructions

This is great study and research information. I have contacted the BLM in reference to Georgia Land Patents. The BLM says Georgia didn't record any and to check with Historical Archives. I have checked both with the county recorders office in which I live and the Historical Archives and come up with nothing. You all have no ideal how bad and how far behind Georgia really is.

So the land comes by way of a treaty to the person(s) or nation(s), by way of the patent. Correct? So if it's not recorded and can't be traced to a specific treaty or patent, how can an individual "legally" record one just by a notarized affidavit?
