Triunity of the Godhead
Many have heard how The Lord sets up things in the agency of "threes"
which typify His triune nature.
I have also been taught how our single governmental structure with the three offices of Legislative, Judicial, & Executive may typify the governance of God.
After completing a Bible study of how each of His three offices affects the believer, I received an insight as to how our three offices in the government fit into the Godhead:
LEGISLATIVE: God the Father establishes His perfect Statutes & Commandments both as a guide for mankind & as a "schoolmaster" which shows how short we fall of God's absolute perfection & righteousness.
JUDICIAL: Jesus Christ, Son of God, holds the office of being the Righteous Judge of both the living & the dead. He will judge believers in Him according to how they conducted their affairs during their mortal existence.
He will judge unbelievers according to their disbelief , lack of trust, & lack of reliance upon Him ALONE as the One who paid the FULL PRICE on the Cross for the PENALTY of their sin & as the One who rose from the dead being victorious.
EXECUTIVE: The Holy Spirit who acts upon what has been legislated by the Father & what is to be decided by Yeshua by convicting the world of sin, righteousness & judgement.
