I ment you are not going to get those med. records for your ex, just because they are confidential. You can try, but I just don't see it happening. UNLESS, you file something with the court, and in the civil matter ask for that.

Second, if this woman is running around trying to convince people of some horse **** story like that, and its not true, well, file for that.

Third, if you try to use med. for child custody, you will lose, I'm sorry to tell you that, but you will. Now, if it were full blown case of aids, I could see this working for you.

Fourth, you can call Family services, or the sheriff's department, (I'd go with the sheriff) and explain your concerns! MAKE THEM DO A WELFARE CHECK!!(That heats things up).

It's a sad situation to be sure. But, HIV isn't just going to spread like wild fire. I would be scared too, but what can you do? HIV doesn't pass like a cold or flu, this is my point. For your concerns will prob. be met with tons and tons of "medical testing" on HIV, and it could possibly, just might, blow up in your face. I'm not saying that to be a jerk, just giving you my two cents worth.

Alrighty then, so to try and digest what you are saying, I have a few questions/comments if you don't mind:

1) So, It was my initial intention to file something with the clerk to get this information in the interest of the child, and because I want to know (that is just part of the truth).

2) Do I have to file in the family court with jurisdiction over the child, or could I file in General District Court in my jurisdiction? (Remember, I live in a different State) and would like to make it harder/more expensive for the CP to fight me on this. (That is the truth). So I'd rather file in local district court if possible.

3) The CP has run around and told this story to everyone, except CP has twisted it to make it seem that I gave it to her. I have lost my entire biological family due to this. I mean it, cousins, aunts, grandmother, etc. No one talks to me because of what she said. My own parents have belief of what she says to.

So how would I sue, if I can't prove she has told everyone this?

4) I understand medical for custody. Just trying to use it as a building block in my case with many other elements.

5) Can you expand as much as possible on the Sheriff's office and welfare? I'd like to be careful with anyone like that, because of "Tit for Tat", but I would be grateful if you could explain.

6) I am especially concerned about the HIV thing, because the mother seems to make the child sick when she isn't getting attention. I can't prove it, but it keeps happening.

Thank you for your time. If you are not able to chime in, perhaps someone else will.
