Nuts, like almonds or peanuts and a table spoon of honey go a LONG way in curbing your appetite and yet provide you with energy.
I enjoy milk a lot so sometimes I will heat a small amount in the microwave, add some honey, stir, then fill the remainder of the glass, bottle, container etc. with cold milk then drink or continue to chill. YUM! Washes down almonds wonderfully and in some cases I can go all day without eating anything else. Though it is important to get some fruits and veggies in too.
That's good for a non-exercise day. On days that I exercise or express strenuous activity I add more protein in the form of eggs, fish, chicken, steak, hamburger, turkey, roast beef, pork, hotdogs, quail, duck.... Mmmm Mm!
