I concur Big Al, with the understanding, that even with reliance on the Lord, the Lord has also placed men and women in positions wherein they could be of assistance to other men and women. In this society, we are all destined to need food, clothing, shelter, medications of various sorts, etc., and society demanding these things, places a burden on all of us to depend on the frn to provide those things. How long has it been since you have seen the Lord to cause manna to fall from heaven? Or how long since He has caused the lame to walk or the blind to see? I admit that there are reports of rare instances, but it is not as though these things happen to the vast majority of persons requiring His immediate attention in their lives. Just my point of view.
