Re:Police towed my car

Ice- you mentioned missed appointments, how does one put a $ value on a missed appointment?
What's the embarrassment and humiliation worth?
Walking didn't cost me any "money" but it cost me my time and energy, can I bill them for&worn-out shoes?
All of my replacement transportation was "paid" for with either a check or CC, just in case I needed to recover the expenses. If I had more money to work with I would've spun the damages meter, and never been a day without transportation.
As to the $45.00 per hour, I'll bet I've put in 60-70 hours on reseaching this issue, but I don't think they'll believe it. I've spent at least that much time explaining to others how the officer had no right to be what he did. And twice that much time explaining to myself that I'm doing the right thing.
The "Notice and Demand" is required to exhuast my administrative remedy, which I'm hoping they will honor. If not, My damages will continue adding up and it will give me more time to come up with more charges against them. If we're going to court I'm taking no prisoners.

Thanks to all for your support!& FNM
