I thought I would bring this thread back to life and comment on how I have done something almost identical.

I have established a private agreement with the MOT re travelling. Mainly, he is fiduciary for a bond and agrees that all presentments by Police Service/RCMP are frivolous, vexatious and harassment. He also agreed to handle any issue without delay and, the nice guy he is, satisfy a claim within 30 days.

The last go round of correspondence with the Minister of Transportation went something like this:

I completely understand and agree that the Honourable Ty Lund, Alberta's Minister of Infrastructure and Transportation has jurisdiction in the PROVINCE OF ALBERTA. I take no issue with this statement. I will point out that if a presentment is made to you from outside the jurisdiction of the respective provincial government(s) (e.g. district of Alberta where Mr. Lund has NO Jurisdiction) then you are bound to the terms of our agreement.

Also, please be advised the agreement between Minister of Transportation and the undersigned conveys to all subsequent Ministers responsible for Transportation.

No response to date and none expected.

To even extend the funnies on this...

Recently there was an automobile towed (by registered owner who is a BGT). Long story (no I am not getting into it). Anyway, BGTs have opinion that "I" (strawman) do not have a "license" to "drive". BGTs wanted to present "me" (strawman) with presentments (driving with no license - bad, driving no insurance - 3,000 fine, on it goes).

A copy of the contract with MOT was sitting on the seat of the automobile that was towed. I am 200% positive this document was copied by BGT. Been what, 2 days shy of 6 weeks now. No presentments. Hm, wonder why.
