I have had people tell me they have never heard of such a device built into cell phones (post 2001) that tracks and monitors movement. Others have flat-out denied that government would do anything like that. (They still believe that government is all-protecting.) Still others just simply don't care by saying "well, I got nothing to hide".

I am more fearful that we have the third group running around out there saying "oooh yes officer, oooh yes judge, oooh yess government I am but a lowly 'citizen'!"

Save the fact that even before the NSA spy story came out last December, I remember seeing episodes of '24' on FOX in early 2005 where the 'Counter Terrorist Unit' tracked suspects by their cell phones. When one of their agents goes under cover, they are instructed to remove their cell phone's battery to escape tracking.

In the 1998 movie 'Enemy of the State', the ex-NSA character speaks about the telecommunications comoanies being in bed with the government since the 1940s. Now we know this to be true.

So there, even with a mainstream presentation, most are still ignorant to the facts.
