Jones v. Flowers

Brand new (2006) U.S. Supreme Court decision on due process in foreclosures and tax sales:

This should be helpful in fighting foreclosures, if there was not sufficient service.

In foreclosure, the jurisdiction is typically in rem, not in personam. The Supreme Court said that due process nonetheless requires notice to the owner.
