Won The case of right to travel

Ok so my girlfriend was traveling without a license and she got pulled over she presented the officer with documents showing court cases that its her right to travel the officer started laughing and made her get out of the car and get in the back of his car she then claimed it was her right to travel he then asked her how long she has been driving the laughed and said officer i dont drive i travel to make a long story short we sent in a abbatment and memorandom of law the case was dismised and now the guy that towed her vehicle wont let it out without 750.00 payment for towing it and storage we are going to file a Writ of Replevin tomorrow but i was wondeirng is there any court cases about towing with out owners concent?

Considering that it was the city, county, state that created the tort, then it would be my suggestion that you forward the bill to the applicable agency that created the tort along with a copy to the judge who dismissed the case, containing an order for the judge to sign which would release the vehicle to your custody and instructing the tow company to seek payment from the city, county, state, which ever is applicable.

yeah, you need to look in the vehicle code for the state in question and study the part about towing and impoundment. The court upon dismissing the underlying case should have covered the costs as well. This would be a "Certificate of Release", taxing the costs to the locality.
