Daily Meditation for this 2006-06-16.

"Most people have the bad habit of always looking down, in other
words, of seeing everything that is not going well and is cause
for worry, anxiety or sorrow.

They forget to look up towards the
realm of light and beauty, towards all that inspires their soul
to thank heaven and to find the means of overcoming their
difficulties.

Worries and problems will always exist, no matter what we do.
It is pointless to struggle against them, since it is we who will
be crushed.

Instead, we must equip ourselves, just as we do when
faced with severe weather or insects.
When it rains, we take an
umbrella; when it is cold, we dress warmly or install some
heating, and so on.
Well, when we are faced with problems, the
only solution is to look upwards in order to draw light and
strength.

In doing so, not only will we triumph over these
difficulties, we will be thankful to heaven."
