check for their monthly "service fee"

Go to 'Sovereign Society.com' webpage, they do a decent job detailing off shore banks and investments. They have a free newsletter. I found that Panama has now become a great off shore banking center.

Thanks to George Gordon's archive on Social Security and psholtz tidbit of information on former Supreme Court justice Joseph Story (and his contributions to admiralty law in the US), I am having to start from scratch to learn the relation between an individual, contracts, trusts, commerce, and the US Constitution's Commerce Clause.
Mind shattering stuff when you put it all together.
In the words of George Gordon, "If you don't want to pay income taxes, then you need to stop having income."

Yes, I've heard Panama is an excellent banking center.
Apparently it's supposed to be quite "stable" since both the US and China have a large interest in seeing the Canal Zone continue operating smoothly... (on the other hand, if war should ever break out between China and the US, I suppose the Canal Zone would be one of the first causulties of that conflict).

George is great. All these traps, from income to raw milk, have a large loophole- its that they dont actually exist. i include raw milk based on George's observation that in states where purchase of raw milk for human consumption is totally banned, it can be bought for pet food.
Man, thats good pet food. See how there is always a way around THE MAN INC... like many have posted here so many times, these rules are for corporations.
But as to bank accounts- maybe certain rules protect them, offshore is better, but lets just presume correctly that a world-wide system as powerful as this one isnt stumbling over the State of Panama...maybe they feel the need to create outlets (for their own use!)
but privacy and invisibility thechniques are still required for better results.
And the best privacy and invisibility is not being there in the first place. George might also remind us of the Gospel: "come out of BABYLON"

I experimented w/ this a bit this weekend.
I went to the local safeway and found two types of these "pre-paid debt/credit" cards that you could buy: (a) Netspend (listed above) and (b) Only1 (Safeway is a re-loading center for these types of cards, and they sell them retail as well).
Netspend does * not* allow you to activate the card w/o a SSN.. I "played" w/ them a bit about this on customer service, and eventually talked to the group manager, who admitted to me that he was an illegal immigrant from Mexico.
So that's Netspend.
Only1 *does* allow you to activate the card w/o a SSN, and I've successfully used it for a couple small online transactions. I was able to do so w/o giving anyone (at Only1) any SSN. Only1 also has lower monthly fees (if you intend to keep the card for that long).
However, the thing about Only1 is that the "default name" that ships on the credit card isn't accepted by most Internet POS terminals. The Only1 card ships w' "ONLY1 CUSTOMER" (for the "name", where your in-commerce name would ordinarily appear).
Both Internet POS points I tried to use it at rejected this "name"..
They did however accept "ALL ACCESS CUSTOMER", and the transaction cleared w/o problem.
Just fyi..

I researching ways of how to obtain "cheap" gold and silver. I have some hope that this is possible.
Also, you can buy foreign coins cheaper, in many cases, than domestic coins. Looking for coins with a high stamped value and low precious metal content and low cost. A great suggestion I received was to buy coins that you don't have to 1099 for.
Liberty dollars would fit the bill for this in some regard.

This is a tricky one, some people tell me that Swiss banks are still very good, others insist that Panama is the "New Switzerland", while some are now talking about Dubai. In all honesty, the best thing u can do is thoroughly research all the best banking centers and make decisions based on your specific needs, there are no "cookie cutter" solutions because each individual has his/her own needs. All I will say is that be careful and make sure that u keep everything private/secret but "legal", so even if u get "caught" somehow, then u will still be ok and not end up going to club fed...

I've heard good things about Dubai too, but I also understand it's a good bit more expensive than Panama.
That, and you'd be living w/ the likes of Dich Cheney et al, which strikes me as a bit distasteful.. :-)

ps, yeah Dubai is a bit more expensive but if u don't get in now, it will be even more expensive. There is a massive economic boom going on there due to the high price of oil. The country is going crazy with new developments and projects (even Donald Trump loves Dubai!) which will make Dubai one of the premier global business centers in the 21st century. Panama is also very good and here I speak from personal experience. I like Dubai because there are a number of advantages there that Panama does not offer, I was told that buying property in Dubai can lead to a Permanent Residency.
I am seriously looking at this option right now, also, some of my British friends have told me that they legally manage to avoid UK income taxes by having residency in Dubai. For Americans this would be tricky as we are still required to pay taxes on all income, even foreign, no mater where we live... However, there are even ways around this if one is willing to do the research.

Thankfully, Dubai is a big enough place where I will be able to avoid this worthless piece of Satan's sh!t! Also, although I don't like Islam, I like some aspects of Islamic Law, the Shariah. Basically, unlike the west, Muslims still believe in many commonsense laws which help to protect innocent people. In Dubai u don't have to worry about bogus law suits and other types of bs, coz if the accusers are found to be wrong, there are serious consequences. You get more than just a minor slap on the wrist, u might actually have ur wrists removed altogether! Anyway, it's good to do some research and try to have a diversified strategy, never have all ur eggs in one basket!
