Shameless Plug For a Good Book with info.

JJ Luna - How to Be Invisible

It has some good tips and pointers and he recommends a New Mexico LLC because they are not required to list the owners, directors, file P/L Statements etc.

If you have a ghost address or Mail forwarding attached to it, then it is extremely difficult to track you down. I say difficult because unless you change your name and move to another country and no one knows your previous identity someone some where will be able to find you sooner or later given enough money and time.

Remember Poor Richard's advice. 3 can keep a secret if 2 are dead.

JJ Luna - "How to Be Invisible"

Read it...Don't use a Nevada Corp. Use an LLC, of course in a ficticious name.

Thanks ALL, and you too bill :)

I appreciate everyone's comments. I have just received my copy of "How to be Invisible" and will begin reading it.
As a matter of update, I have gained a feeling that I need to experience the Corporation protocol slowly as this would be my first time, so I hired one of the many Nevada companies to set me up my first (but not last) C-corp, so that I may through time and experience learn how to use it basically. I spent less than $900 frn's and can now move some liabilities of my hired labor into it plus I gain the use of an EIN, which wholesalers require to order product.

I still plan on utilizing the wealth of knowledge here to sharpen my knowledge of the corporate liability and personal privacy methods addressed, but for right this second, I am just gonna get my feet wet and see what happens.

Logan

P.S. I am curious, I do not want my new daughter to receive a birth certificate or SSN, for all the statutory slavery implications. However, could the same societal acceptance be gained by setting up an LLC or C-corp for her in her name (all CAPS of course) and essentially use the new EIN instead of an SSN and she being the president, secretary and treasurer?
OR does that just sound crazy?

Visit the NM Secretary of State's Office Web site

Use a search engine to locate, check the requirements for an LLC in NM, one will find some restrictions, ie; an address there is a requirement, and unless one know's someone, this may be an obstacle. I've checked.

JJ Luna does not recommend using a New Mexico LLC when it comes to money. It is only for asset protection (homes, cars). He says it is too complicated to use when money is involved.

I would suggest a Nevada LLC. If you are aware of “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” they recommend Sutton Law Center to setup and maintain as agent.

Personally I...

WITHOUT PREJUDICE
Personally I would avoid utilizing any statutory entity except as an interface where needed. Trusts are of the best entities. I get the gist that most people think of just forming a single trust and that somehow being the solution to everything. But I know of someone who tends to recommend doing trusts in threes w/ a fourth entity being statutory.
