VoD Again

Every time I generate some momentum with my attempt to VoD my derogatory credit items I drop the ball and then feel I'm starting from scratch. So I apologize for all my simple questions, but I truly appreciate all the feed back.

If I do not have a collection notice or presentment from a creditor or collection agency, is it prudent to send some kind of inquiry asking them to verify the debt? This way they can send a notice, which will allow me to send my VoD along with a copy of their presentment. Or can I send them a notice requesting that they verify the debt and knowing they can't wait to see what I receive (or not) in return, so that I can contact the cra's and ask for a item removal.

Any one try and shorten the VOD? Jersee once said he had condensed it down to 4 pgs, but it is not in the download section.

Thanks

Why you want to do that if you don't have any debt with them or their credit card in your possession?

You have to receive the presentment or collection notice before you can send any VOD or you will create a red flag for yourself.

That's not true charles.....Concise, well written docs will ALWAYS trump masses of empty rhetoric. especially when the reader is a black robed attorney. Most people wish to get the message with a minimal investment of time and effort.

The cra's still show I have a debt. Did a verification with cra's, was able to have one cra delete an entry for this card. Another said it had been sold, but gave no info. The last stated the debt belong to me. It seems several agencies are listed as holders of the debt, I thought to contact them all.

OK, this is not wise, so how can I get the cra's to remove the items?[/b]
