Understanding Subject Matter Jurisdiction

Since my last thread on being sued is so large, I am concerned that some of you probably can't be annoyed reading it.

I am really having a hard time understanding the concept of Subject Matter Jurisdiction.

In laymans terms, I would like to understand the following without deducting from my other thread.

1) What is Subject Matter Jurisdiction?

2) What reason(s) could I give the court to challenge their Subject Matter Jurisdiction?

3) How do I go about a challenge to Subject Matter Jurisdiction?

4) Must that challenge to Subject Matter Jurisdiction always be verbal?

5) If a challenge to Subject Matter Jurisdiction can be written (by far my preference), what would a challenge to it look like? (a sample would be perfect, but if no sample is available, what would a heading look like)

Thank you so much!!

You aren't kidding! This explains it pefectly. In fact, that almost seemed like ME asking it. LOOOOL

Questions 3, 4, and 5 do remain though.

I want to challenge SMJ in writing as opposed to slamming the judge with it tomorrow.

Can I do it? If so, then how?

Sure, why not.

O Yea, in writing or oral presentation. You have to learn the body language secret sign of court room scenery by the black roper and shyster in other to take your message across the platfoam, when you challenge the jurisdiction and you might get lucky and became a patners in law. If you have a good presentation to impress the black roper and shyster you will prevail.

If you don't live in California the Case Law cited wouldn't work would it? Shouldn't you try to find Case Law in your own State?

Caselaw is realy weak. You should also find statutes and law to support your motion.
