In motions etc, is it OK to bold and underline?

I notice that no one ever does it.

Why? Is it not allowed or something?

I would like to drive hard points in my motions, and I think bolding and underlining would help.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

You can bold some of the point, not too fancy however do not underline it. Black roper is not dumb, they understand; what you are dragging at.
