Jim Norman Indicted
http://columbia.fbi.gov/dojpressrel/...cams091207.pdf
Quote:
Five (5) people were charged in three federal indictments with wire fraud for offering fraudulent investments. The indictments are a result of an ongoing FBI investigation into scams that promote phony investment programs, promising unsuspecting investors large returns on their investments. The defendants are alleged to have sought substantial investments in “note-trading” programs, falsely claiming that the programs existed, the investments were risk-free, and that high yield returns were guaranteed.
Charged in the case are:
David P.J. (Jim) Norman, age unknown, of Canada;
Trevor D. James, Sr., age 38, of Lawrenceville, Georgia;
Laure Huff, age unknown, of North Carolina;
Beryl Koenig, age 58, of Brighton, Colorado; and
Clifford Michael Emery, age unknown, of London, England.
The maximum penalty each defendant could receive is a fine of $250,000.00 and/or imprisonment of twenty (20) years. This case was investigated by agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and has been assigned to Assistant United States Attorney David C. Stephens of the Greenville Office for prosecution.

Near the footer of that PDF is a new definition of "charges" from that "United States Attorney", quote;
"The United States Attorney stated that all charges in these Indictments are merely accusations and that all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty."
Also of note, what is to not be satisfied with a note-trading investment? $250K fine sounds like a security fraud itself. Parker Brothers wrote some of their Monopoly Money(tm) graffiti on the back of some of my Court orders, just because they could. They didn't consider an endorsement, just an unrelated event.
without prejudice,
M. Gregory Thomas(tm)

I was definitely also going to comment on that.
Good eyes!
If one has "accusations" wouldn't that mean one is "accused?"
Wouldn't that also square with The "Constitution?"
How is "accused" "defendant?"
Where is "defendant" to be found in the "Constitution?"
I like that term "merely."
It looks like a twisting of language to me to use "charges,"accusations," "defendants," and "presumed innocent," in the same grammatical construct.
Will "accused" make record as "presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty" at so called "arraignment?"
But how can one be "accused" (presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty) and "defendant" ("guilty" or "guilty" with a qualification of notness which must be proven away from the guilty) at the same time?
Very confusing.
I wonder how long it took whoever wrote that to come up with that precise wording, and if it is a standard, and if so, when was it written.
Have missed you Noble Holder of Revoke the Trust.

lots of Jim Norman around.
with love, Gregory-Thomas(R);
Salutations to the holders of "mrg"!
Howdy partner, I've been off-line quite a while. Just constant harassment for me in the Californias that nothing was getting done. I took my post to the first vessel of baggage and directed that over to the town of Greeley, stuck under the Weld county for Colorado. Cold place. I don't see any of our sweet brother David's burgers up here. Just finished introducing my I's person to the postal Station, police Station, and Driver Licensing Test Center just as I always due to it. It's the coldest in the country here, at -4 degrees. Freemason symbols are everywhere on WELD COUNTY COURTHOUSE.

I know a Jim Norman back at Lake Forest CALIFORNIA. He was Captain of the Outer Limits down in San Diego -- the fastest twin-turbo diesel engined fishing-boat on the west coast, with a 14,000 gallon bait tank. I think I also met his brother Jim Norman standing out in an Irvine corn patch when I was feeding the cows. With how much buttered toast is in fancy Colorado, I wouldn't doubt there are a million of him out here too.
without prejudice,
M. Gregory Thomas(tm).

Indeed the Fascia and All Seeing Eye were imported to the Great Seal from Lucias Weld's family crest. Secretary Weld was the first secretary of the Territory of Colorado in 1861 and may have brokered the first fiat currency for Governor Gilpin. That is to say, he is the one who had discussions in Washington about it with President Buchannon.
They keep a file about the history of the Great Seal at the State Archiver in Denver.
Regards,
David Merrill.

I've been offline for awhile dealing with my own legal situation, and I checked back in today after peeking at quatloos to see what bullcrap they were spewing about suijuris these days... and to my surprise, I found that no new posts have taken place at quatloos since March of 2007, and their forums regarding debt elimination appear to be locked! You can't even read some of the threads any more.
Wow. Did they run away with their tails between their legs... or are they all lurking around here now, posting stuff calculated to intimidate suijuris members?
