Cool Response from HSBC to 9pg VOD

This is the letter i got after i send the 9pg vod w/CPN, any thoughts what should i do next.

Dear Mr. XXXXX
In response to your letter dated XXXXX, I have reviewed this account. I offer you the following information. Please be advised that Household Bank is the financial institution that provides the financing for Kawasaki credit accounts. The purchases reflected on the statements issued by Household Bank (SB), N.A. are items which were financed through this account in lieu of cash or other means of payment.
Enclosed, you will find a copy of the original, signed application for this account. If there is a specific transaction that is in question, we will be more than happy to continue researching your concerns if you can provide us with a detailed letter indicating the dates and/or amounts that are in question.
Regards, bla bla bla

The vod was sent to Retail Services, thats where the credit card is from.

Okay, but they didn't say a single word about the CPN, did they?

Well the copy of the original seems nice but did they copy the front and back of the original? And did you ask to examine it for yourself? Capies are nice but it is the original you wnat to take a look at.

They made a copy of the part with my personal info and signature and all the terms and conditions part. Yes i asked for the original, but i don't think thats going to happen. Ohh but he never mentioned anything about the CPN or answearing any of the questions that were included in the VOD package. So how should i respond to that letter. Any info greatly appreciated.

Another question that should arise in your mind is "When was this copy made?"

Was it made years ago, or after several security companies have traded and negotiated it?

It's not the original.

Nuff said.

Better yet, why not make copies of FRN's and send them in for payment...it's what they're doing to you. If they want you to accept their copy, they shouldn't have a problem accepting yours:-) Think about it.

Okay,

First I would not make copies of FRNs--that is private property.

Next, you should address the matter of the Vod but, I need to ask this...is this a debt collector or the primary creditor?

I assume you know the difference.

Yeah, I didn't mean to really make copies of the FRN's, just making a point to them accepting copies.
