VOD process

Could someone please tell me the proper chain of events for sending the VOD to a third party Debt Collector?
After the Default period is there a letter sent which allows them an opportunity to cure, or do you just execute an AFF of Default?

Does the AFF. of Default get filed? Where? When? Does that constitute a Default Judgement?
Sorry for all the questions, but after using all the different redemption bs, I am confused as to the proper process! LT2DOGS

Processes will continue to evolve and do***ents will change. One way to do it is you simply mail the VOD certified or registered mail. An affidavit of mailing is a great accessory. You can mail it again to address their non resposiveness and give the "opportunity to cure" if you want.

A notary should NOT be used to mail your docs and issue a "default judgement," "notice of dishonor/default", or the like.

If one wants fancy, one can have an independent third party mail the docs if desired, along with an affidavit of mailing (stating the name of the do***ents mailed, their business address, the date, etc.). Instructions can be provided for the target to mail all correspondence to the address of the third party. The third party can send the docs again if desired. Then the third party can sign an affidavit as to the sequence of events (to do***ent targets bad faith). This process doesn't even have to be done by a third party, but can be done by the "respondent" him/herself.

Keep in mind it can really be as simple as you mailing the VOD (along with the affidavit of mailing) and end of story. Much of time intricate processes and added hocus pocus procedures do very little, except for providing possible psychological benefits.

LT2DOGS,

I think you should study more before venturing across this maze without a map. This is meant with all sincerity. I gather from your post that you are really confused about things. Another reason why I don't endorse redemption.
