THE PROBLEM I'M HAVING IS THE CRA'S WON'T TELL YOU HOW THEY VERIFIED THE ALLEGED ACCOUNT. THEY KEEP SAYING IT'S BEEN INVESTIGATED AND VERIFIED AND THEY CALL ANY FURTHER DEMAND/REQUEST FRIVOLOUS.
I BELIEVE THE OLDER ACCOUNTS TEND TO GET DELETED FASTER. AFTER 2 OR 3 FAILED ATTEMPTS FROM DIFFERENT CA'S THE ALLEGED DEBT/ACCOUNT SEEMS TO BE LEFT ALONE.

VOD Original Creditor

i've read many things regarding VOD but it always references collection agency/attorney---my beef is with OC who claims a charge off balance. I've read here, never argue ask for validation.

I could easily write up a letter providing my proof of payments made per terms of lease agreement and argue my case----but should I?

And what exactly is "Certified Verification"---is there a formal definition---I did not find this phrase when I search FCRA and FDCPA.

I'M BEGINNING TO MOVE AWAY FROM REQUESTING "CERTIFIED VERIFICATION OR VALIDATION". YOU'RE RIGHT ABOUT NOT BEING FOUND IN FCRA OR FDCPA. CHECK OUT MY THREAD ON FACTA (FCRA AMMENDMENTS).

REGARDING FDCPA, I WOULD START MENTIONING MORE SPECIFIC ARGUMENTS SUCH AS; BREACH OF CONTRACT, LACK OF CONSIDERATION, MATERIAL ALTERATION, ETC....
