Automobile loan success?
Ok, im back. This thread was originally under "interesting automobile situation." I purchased a vehicle in April of this year, made one payment, sent in a certified promissary note, demanded the finance company come and get the vehicle if the note didnt discharge the loan. Its now almost August and i havent heard a peep from them and still driving my vehicle. hmmmmm

GIVE IT A FEW MORE MONTHS. SOME "SPECIAL INVESTIGATOR" MIGHT BE CONTACTING YOU SOON AND THEN IT'S REPO DUDE TIME.
THEY LEFT ME ALONE FOR 4-5 MONTHS AND THEN THE LAWSUIT PAPERS SHOWED UP. |

ok, thats why i thought about sending out a 10 day contract, prove the cpn didnt discharge the loan or waive all rights and interest in the vehicle.

LET ME KNOW IF YOU CAN KEEP THEM FROM TAKING YOU TO COURT. IN MY CASE, THEY BASICALLY IGNORED EVERYTHING. I HAVEN'T HEARD OF ANYBODY HAVING SUCCESS WITH A CPN. |

When U Say "purchased" Do U Mean Financing Or Leased? Eye Trying To Do The Same Thing But Instead Of Sending A Promissory Note, Eye Am Going To Send A Letter Of Credit. Eye Am Trying To Get Some Feed Back Here But Maybe Eye Am Not Known Enuff As Of Yet. Ur Name Caught My Attention, Especially The 999.
