Re:EXPERIAN

An unverified tax lien can be reported&if I let them report it, yes.& Equifax said they are&looking into the matter (still).& I sent&Experian the same letter above and they never&answered&it.&

TransUnion never responded to my first letter so why did they bother responding to the second letter? &With that kind of response (above) why did they bother&responding at all?

Re:EXPERIAN

Tora, sounds like one for the success stories area!

"THE RESULTS ARE: Equifax has verified this item belongs to you. If you have documents that release you from this obligation please forward a copy to us."

Hmmm, I would write them back and thank them for verifying that item in question BELOGNS TO ME, and futhermore, since their own investigation has proven that it is MY PROPERTY, to cease and desist futher use.

How nice of them to admit to using your property for their commercial benefit!

Re:EXPERIAN

Sui Juris, yeah, I thought their comment about the item "belonging" to me sounded a little fishy too.

I don't see any tax liens on my new credit report though.& In fact, I don't&even see the recent $26,000 tax lien IRS said they filed with the county recorder on April 9.&

I should probably check my report again, although I don't want to spend another $9 for it.

Thanks for acknowledging my success!

Re:EXPERIAN

Another thing I just notice on the new credit&report they sent me- my Capital One account - I sent them&an 'assignment of interest' for $2,800 along with&my UCC-1/security agreement/indemnity bond back in January.& They continued&calling me after they recieved it, but then they stopped calling me after I sent&them a Notice of Fault.& They then sent me a letter stating&I would continue to receive statements--they also sent me a copy of the agreement.&

I have been getting statements every month, but my credit report says NOTHING about that account. Not even a record of being late.& The account number is correct, but there is no balance due&and no record that I ever had a balance.&

Weird.

Re:EXPERIAN

No need to pay for it - you can pull up your current experian report here:

Re:EXPERIAN

Thanks Sui Juris for that link, but I need a link for Equifax, not Experian.& I went to equifax.com and you have to be a 'member' to view your report.&

I tried logging in with my name and SS but it says they have no record of my membership.

Oh well.
