Good luck.

You'll meet all kinds of new and interesting people - very briefly as they tow the vehicle away. Then you'll find out all about the summons and appearance and judgment process.

Don't assume they haven't seen these things before.

I believe the Dorean example has been proven that buying into a "Sit back, we'll do it for you" type program is not a good idea in the least.

If you are going to do this stuff, you'd best be seriously studied and have a bulletproof admin proc and be ready to go to court and defend your paperwork or ready to counterclaim.

KGodd has shown us how he may have eliminated a car loan.

Another member here has eliminated a serious car loan and took it all the way to discovery. They didn't like the part about the subpoena on the bookeeping entries

Note the appropriate use of the phrase, "may have."

I'd really love to see the actual docket and case records. And if a subpoena was actually issued and what the actual response was and what the ruling was.

But I really doubt we're going to ever see those, or any other case where a lender simply slithered away in fear and let someone walk away with a car or a house with the kinds of defenses and counter-claims promoted here.

So, Paul, you bought a car and now don't feel like making the car payments.

Er, Okay. In that case, though, the company might not feel like letting you continue to drive the car.

If you go with this "elimination" program, what will happen is:

1). You'll pay these guys money.

2). They'll tell you to stop making the car payments. They will use a lot of legal sounding mumbo-jumbo that means, in effect, "we have the magic words that allow you to get cars for free!".

3). The magic words won't work. After a while, the repo man will tow the car away.

4). You'll be left with no car, ruined credit record, and a hole in your pocket from the money you gave these scammers.

WELL SAID. PEOPLE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT ALL THESE "ELIMINATION" COMPANIES ARE JUST EXPERIMENTING WITH A PROCESS AND THERE IS NO GUARANTEE OF SUCCESS.
