Credit Report has Items Incorrectly listed

Does anyone know the easiest, most effective way to have items removed from a credit report that are incorrectly reported. I have a friend who has items listed on his report that are his father's items. They do not have the same name and neither one of their ss# is on the account being listed. I know on one of the accounts for sure, his father is listed as an authorized user on the account with no ss# listed. That is one of the items being listed on my friends credit report.

Any answers will be appreciated.

I had the same problem only with a girl friend . I got copies of the reports then challenged them to prove or verify that the accounts where mine . They where removed nothing fancy just simple letters.

Check member download section under CRA & Credit clean up. You can adjust it to fit your own situation.

That is good advice but also add to please verify there information and they cannot. Bobbie
