security interest clause

When claiming collateral on your UCC 1 or with sending& a collector a VOD package, has anyone ran into a problem with a clause on the original contract&stating that if you allow a security interest to be placed on the property purchased you will be in breach of contract?

Re:security interest clause

ben,

Alot of finance companies use that clause.& Places like rent-to-own and stuff like that.& Its a sneaky thing to get paid and then try to take the property back and maybe resell it at a lower price since it is used.& Anyway...

The clause is only one small issue with the contract.& The real issue is the original contract.&

Has the original contract been monetized?& If so, then the clause may not even apply since the contract is satisfied.
