CC VOD Timetable

Sometimes I can't turn off my brain!

Tons of ideas and questions - so here's a few of the most important ones on my latest priority list:

1. Does it matter how many payments to the CC should be missed before the VOD w/CPN is sent to them to get the ball rolling?

I did this procedure a bit butt-backwards in that I sent a validation request to the CRA 1st, even while still making payments to the CC. So now that I think(?) I've got it correct, how long should I let the so-called debt accumulate before I send the VOD to them?

2. Another thought that I'm certain others have had, but I don't see it anywhere on the forum -

Should we still be using our other CC's for purchases and such and then use our remedy to discharge them as well?

In other words, is this an ongoing process for us? Letting our remedy from HJR 192 take care of our needs?

It's a troublesome thought for me at the moment and I have mixed feelings about it - but at the same time a part of me is coming to grips with the whole thing.

Just looking for some guidance.

Doc,

Would you willingly particiapte in fraud?

Would you willingly allow yourself to be the surety for something that you are not?

This is a challenge to your integrity--not the forum. What will you do? Continue to play this game or not.

It is a no brainer if you wish to be left alone.

have fun

Think "code."

"They" have their "codes."

"We" need a "code."

Think "burden of proof."

Once you start living by the code of "burden of proof," that those who "allege" a thing carry the "burden of proof," you'll see things from a clearer point of view.

"They" allege you owe a debt? Fine. Prove it.

"They" allege you owe a tax debt? Fine. Prove it.

"They" allege you're guilty of speeding? Fine. Prove it.

When they can't, or won't, or don't, and STILL pursue exercising their "power"--and though of it's little comfort, I admit--"we" still win because we have, once again, revealed to ourselves and those with eyes to see the real truth, which is we're dealing with a bunch of damned tyrants, and death is too good for them.\

So, how 'bout we just BOP (burden of proof) 'em upside the head each and every chance we get?

Doc,

Note that Jerseee sez it's up to you to "play the game" or not and Randy points to "burden of proof".

If you continue to use any cards you are playing their game and give them "burden of proof"... don't ya think?

Each of us must make the choice to play in the "credit" arena or not.& I don't use CC's -- if I don't have funds then I don't purchase.

I would suggest that all members consider their options and make the best choice for their own life -- but I would be VERY HAPPY if members would not "empower" CCC's via their use.& If you were at war would you give fuel to your enemies army?

Think about it.

Re:CC VOD Timetable

Thank you for all the kind replies.

You have made it abundantly clear how you feel and I truly appreciate the candor.

My dilemma in this arena is that cash flow, especially at my office, unfortunately dictates that purchases be made with a CC. I currently do not have an apparent alternative.

So the question arises - how might I reconcile this 'need' to have the ability to move my cash flow out 30 days or more to survive in business vs. the 'desire' to remove myself from the fraud?

Not an easy question for me to answer with the knowledge I have gained from my new found friends on this forum!

Perhaps the answer is so simple that I am not seeing it. So I find myself again asking for opinions and guidance regarding this issue.

Re:CC VOD Timetable

Doc,

A different situation altogether. Well have you thought about a business loan?

Anyway you slice it, you will be in a situation where you will have to use a modified VOD.

Doc, sorry to hear that but I guess you must do what is necessary.

Re:CC VOD Timetable

Thanks Jerseee

You talk about a modified VOD.

How might it be modified?

Do I still send a CPN with it?

What if I keep 1 CC of all that I currently have, and use it just for business?

Just a thought.

Thanks for the input.

Doc,

Modified means tailor the VOD to fit your situation.& The CPN is most critical part.

You can handle your business as you wish.& Keep one or none--you are king.

Re:CC VOD Timetable

Hello all,

Today was a red letter day for the Bowman Family.

The wife & I got responses back from the CRA's. 2 sent Credit Reports, one (Experian) did not.

I am on to the second step.

I also got a call from a creditor saying they were taking me to small claims court for a $100 alleged debt.

Time to get my hands dirty.

I love it.

On the CRA's, What do I sent next?

I just got to the point that I can get back into the book.

THanks

HB

Re:CC VOD Timetable

What did the CRAs say? And you have to give them 30 days to verify the debt. Has it been 30 days since they received the verification for debt letter?

IF not, do not respond yet. Allow them to work.
