Re:Looking for some opinions

Another thing is that they didn't send the letter certified.& I could act like I never received it, and continue to bug them for verification, or send a letter of non-response.& What about that.& I sent the letter of discovery to be notarized, and they completely ignored that fact.& As far as I am concerned, they didn't answer my letter.

Re:Looking for some opinions

Whirlwind,

Here is a thought that is off the path you have been traveling (according your posts).

Why not do a cover letter and demand verification of the debt and at the same time you tender a payment for the alleged amount?& Do not word you letter with the mention of a CPN, just state that you have enclosed payment in full and that if they can verify the debt then they may keep your payment; if they cannot verify the debt--please send your payment back.& Either way consider the matter settled.

Take a copy of your letter and get it notarized and file it with the case (make it a matter of record).& Send the letter with the CPN registered mail and when they accept it--hold on to that proof and just wait.

If you have to go to court to prove that they received it, you have the return receipt with their acceptance.

Now the argument is not about who owes who--it will be about is the debt satisfied or not.& How can they argue with their own deeds?

I have done this before and no one calls me about an alleged debt.
