Am I missing something???
I read the HJR 192, trying to see for myself how FRN's are not "real money" and able to be used to pay debt according to the Resolution. Because when I read the amended line that states



"All coins and currencies of the United States (including Federal Reserve notes and circulating notes of Federal Reserve band and national banking associations) heretofore oe hereafter coined or issued, shall be legal tender for all debts..."

that, to me, says that FRNs are legal tender for debt. What am I missing!?!

You are not missing anything. Legal means color of law. It is not actually law. there are 2 United States. they are referring to the fictional one because the "lawful" one operates with gold and silver.



The Constitution tells you that Congress can only coin money and regulate the value thereof. It does not say print money.
