What To Expect Next

Just sent the VOD/CPN to two different CC's. One is 6K+ and the other is 49K+.

Followed the template in the downloads.

Since this is the first time I have done this, just want to be ready by knowing what one might expect to happen next.

I have prepared the Affidavit of Default as I truly do not expect an answer within the next month. Is this the correct next step?

Any and all information regarding this procedure is appreciated.

Doc,

There are a few things that can happen:

1. The docs get returned

2. you get a response

3. you get no response

4. the get a debt collector law firm

5. you get harassing phone calls

etc, etc, etc...

But the one thing that you MUST truly know and believe is that the alleged debt has been satisfied.

If any of the previous things happen to you, do you know what to do? Will you panic or laugh? Will you go back into the debt or stay with your remedy?

Lots of questions to ask yourself. But I can tell you this for a fact--they will attempt to get you back into the debt by trickery. This is the stage of the process where "CRITICAL READING" is vital.

have fun

Jerseee,

Thanx for the reply. What you listed is pretty much what I have learned thus far (mostly from you!), but it never hurts to anticipate the next step.

I suppose what you are saying is that I must wait for their next move.

But, the question I have at this point is if I hear nothing within the next 30 days or so (I gave them 21 days to respond), do I then file the Affidavit of Default?

As always, thanx for the input!

Doc,

You created your terms in your VOD. Adhere to them.

If you don't then your VOD is worthless if you do not act according to your own rules.
