Help Needed re Refusal = Discharge

I know that I have read on here somewhere that if you send a valid Negotiable instrument to a party, and they refuse it or ignore it, the alleged debt is discharged.

Can I get some documentation on that?

Links or whatever are appreciated!!!

Thanks

Help Needed re Refusal = Discharge

Mr. Bowman:

Please go to the UCC, Part VI, and read 3-601 thru 3-605.

Specifically, go to 3-603(b).
