Loan Officers
Well, here is a funny story. My fiance is interested in what I am doing, but 'still part of the system'. So as a result she was doing her taxes and needed a sizeable RRSP for offset.
She was going to get a loan for the RRSPs however her 'debt service ratio' was too high. So we talked about adding me to the 'loan'. So when the loans officer discovered that my credit was 'bad' she couldn't do anything for us. (HA)
I asked her, well, what if I brought in some security? She responded with "Like what?" I said, well there are bonds, BoE and/or a PN. She said, as long as they were "yours". I said I would send her an example last night, which I did not do.
My fiance received a message from the loans officer this morning stating her loan was approved............
