CRA Similarities

<font size=3><font size=2>

I am extremely new to all of this. I began writing to the CRA's about a month ago and was pleased to find 1 input deleted. Since I have found this sight I am better equipped with the knowledge to better handle my situation.

My question is, I retrieved the credit report from experian a few months ago. I again received a copy from Trans Union (last week). MInd you, both reports contained the 3-in-1 CRA reports. There were items that differed between the 2 reports. Meaning there was items listed on 1, but not the other 2. Should I be alarmed by discovering this information? I have read in the forum that the 3 CRA's are supposed to report to each other. Any advise?

CRA Similarities

KDFISH9:

WELCOME TO SUI JURIS.

WHILE I'M NOT SURE ABOUT THE CRA'S REPORTING TO EACH OTHER [I DON'T THINK THEY DO - OTHERS CAN GIVE BETTER INPUT HERE], I DO KNOW THAT DIFFERENT CREDITORS REPORT TO DIFFERENT CRA'S AND NOT NECESSARILY ALL OF THEM. THAT IS WHAY YOU MAY SEE AN ACCOUNT ON ONE AND NOT THE OTHERS.

IF THEY ARE REPORTING DIFFERENT THINGS FROM THE SAME CREDITOR, I COULD BE DUE TO THE TIMING OF OF THE INFORMATION GIVEN TO THE CRA'S BY THE CREDITOR. IF THAT IS NOT THE CASE, THEN A QUESTION COULD BE POSED TO EACH CRA ASKING FOR VERIFICATION OF THE ALLEGED DEBT. BE SPECIFIC AS TO WHICH ACCOUNT[S] YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT.

\HOPE THIS HELPS SOME.

CRA Similarities

Funny this question should come up now -- just when I am beginning my next "phase" of verification -- so here's the question --two fold:

1) As stated, one CRA has eliminated everything byt seven accounts, which I have attempted to get them to verify through certified proof, or provide the name, direct line etc of the individual providing the affidavit (certified proof) and send me a copy of it -- they came back with "we do not understand the nature of your request" right --- so, I know that I can use TU against the other two to similarly reflect accounts, if one can't verify, how can you? type of attitdue -- but is there a Best way to get them to respond to this? EXP sent a quick little report and no response to my "challenge", EXQ sent nothing at all. So to my next question--

2) How do we follow through with the "threat" of filing complaints, etc? To whom, and all that stuff.

Thanks to all. I am learning!

I too am interested in Seeker's 2nd question there. I am getting NOWHERE with my request for verification from Experian. I keep getting the SAME response every time and I'm getting a little sick of it.
