The Full story

Thanks for the Welcome !
Full story why I need help:
I had a sears credit card balance supposedly bought by
LVNV Funding LLC, then MRS Assocociates contacted
me and I sent them a copy of the Validation letter certified mail and they did not respond to it or acknowledge it. Finally in this early may I recieved another letter from another Collection Agency
Ventus Capital Services which is servicing the account
for LVNV Funding .
What Should I do now ?

I would do the same thing you did the first time, if it were me.

Validation Letter

Hi Charlesa6
I sent a validation letter certfied today and I know I am missing a step here after I send the letter and they fail to respond in writing during the 30 day period ?

My Question is : DO they the collector now have to cease and desist completely ? Can I now have the false collection removed completely from my Credit file with the 3 Credit agencies ?
How should I do this ? Is there a form letter I can send from this site ?
Thanks
Gaucho

NO. you still going to received additional 2 or 3 more before the end of this year or next year.

Yes. You can remove any derogatory in your record place by the collection agency at anytime, as long as you sending out validation letter to the collectors.

Yes, but you don't need that form now. First, request for the copy of your credit report, before anything else.

Don't worry; I will work you through the process.

Thanks
Gaucho

Any debt collectors will try to call you first, if that fail, then they will send you a letter in the mail.
If your VOD well constructed like jerseee or others in download section, they don't dare call you again, after you are send VOD to them. Read my post at the bottom, remember I said is not over yet, You will received more call more letter from different collectors up to two more this year or next year before is over.
Always, tell collectors, you don't do business on the phone; they should put it in written, no matter what that person verbalizes to you.

There is a likely-hood that these various debt collectors are really one and the same company, subsidaries as it were. Wolpoff has a number of fake companys ("Great Seneca Financial" for one) that they use to make it look like it's this cabal of creditors comming after you when in fact its just one big load of creeps that are attacking.
