charlesa6, I agree, but I also see it as a response to some "patriot" types very own 'garbage', or rather then using the word "patriot", there are various groups and individuals that incorporate principles of sovereignty and other religious principles to support their racist, sexist, greedy motives amoung other unloving activities.
RevokeTheTrust pointed this out in his post:

With every Sentance on that ADL.ORG cite, it is necessary to reference actual testimony of the subjective matter given the author that brought him to such a conclusion, and to this it is detectable, but with a checksum and log we would know the purpose of said cite in its migration from revision to recision of text certain to evince the qualities of its contributors.

I think this is a very good point.
I always liked this quote:

The Great Invocation
From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on Earth.
From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into the hearts of men.
May Christ return to Earth.
From the centre where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide the little wills of men –
The purpose which the Masters know and serve.
From the centre which we call the race of men
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.
Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

Yeah, the quote was inaccurate. Kindly forgive that and note the correction.
P.S.
I was not intending to endorse all works of The Theosophical Society members... yet I do like the jist of it:
Quote:
The Theosophical Society, founded in 1875, is a worldwide body whose primary object is Universal Brotherhood based on the realization that life, and all its diverse forms, human and non-human, is indivisibly One. The Society imposes no belief on its members, who are united by a common search for Truth and desire to learn the meaning and purpose of existence by engaging themselves in study, reflection, purity of life and loving service.
Theosophy is the wisdom underlying all religions when they are stripped of accretions and superstitions. It offers a philosophy which renders life intelligible and demonstrates that justice and love guide the cosmos. Its teachings aid the unfoldment of the latent spiritual nature in the human being, without dependence or fear.
