The quote from Mr. Powell, per the Russian Scientists that every American "NEEDS" to hear immediately is as follows:

[Colin Powell] - "Finding the Russian scientists may be a problem being that Russia does not have a Social Security System, as here in America, that allows us to MONITOR, TRACK DOWN and CAPTURE an American citizen."

Although what he allegedly said is true enough, I would have to see the actual footage.

A transcript of the interview was posted on a State Department website, but I would have no way of knowing if it is complete or edited, or altered.

I did not see the remark.

I forget which Sunday morning program the Colin Powell quote came from (Meet The Press possibly). I emailed them several years ago about getting a copy of the program. If I remember the reply it was available on VHS for 25 - 30 FRN's. I lost interest soon thereafter.

-My feeble opinion.-

Many Americans are aware of this or waking up to it. They are trying to enhance this with the Real ID act and the flopped immigration bill, both of witch require a national database. As everyone is probably aware, the immigration bill (I think it was H.R. 2413 and S.330) would have required every person working in the U.S. to be in a national database. Everyone would have to ask the Government for permission to work. It seems like after the national ID clause was removed from the immigration bill it became like a basket ball with no air in it - useless.
