The term berth is used to describe a bed on a boat or a location in a port or harbour used specifically for mooring vessels while not at sea (or as a verb to describe bringing a vessel alongside - to berth.
Locations in a Port - Berth is the term used in ports and harbours to define a specfic location where a vessel may be berthed, usually for the purposes of loading and unloading.
The following is a list of berth types that you may find in a large port.
General Berth - used to handle smaller shipments of general cargo. Vessels using these would usually have their own lifting gear, but some ports will provide mobile cranes to do this.

document describing details of a person's birth.
Birth is the process in animals by which an offspring is expelled from the body of its mother. Different forms of birth are ovipary, vivipary or ovovivipary.

Childbirth (also called labour)
In ancient times the status of manual laborers was low, as most physical tasks were done by slaves.
Slavery is the social or de-facto status of specific persons, usually captives or prisoners (or their descendants), who are considered as property or chattel, for the purpose of providing labor and services for the owner or state without the right of the slave to refuse, leave or gain compensation beyond room and board and clothing.
Most slaves, historically, were
born into that status as at least one of their parents was a slave.
Birth Certificate - The certificate is issued shortly after a person's birth, usually after the mother's physician files the required forms with the appropriate government agency. To obtain a birth certificate for a newborn is normally compulsory.
The official birth certificate is usually stored at a
government record office, and certified copies of the original are issued when requested.
A
government is a body that has the authority to make and the power to enforce laws within a civil, corporate, religious, academic, or other organization or group.
In its broadest sense, "to govern" means to administer or supervise, whether over a state, a set group of people, or a collection of assets.
Where births are officially registered, a name entered into a birth certificate may by that fact alone become a

Legal name is often the name which an individual is called at birth or which appears on their birth certificate.
