Building a Sovereign State

Has anyone heard that you can build your own sovereign state using eleccistial organizations.. supposedly the theory is if you piece together one of these type of operating agreements you can have the same type of power as the vatican a state within a state.. however this is not a simple 503 irs church loophole,, its suppose to be as strong as a corp sole with extra benefits.

What else where the Wako people doing? I doubt that the invasion of their compound had anything to do with their orginization, but rather other additinal activity that was happening there.

mystic one, It's not a theory, the Cathlic church, and other churches have been doing this since the inception of the United States.

All people are created equal, thus a claim of equality with the Pope, while Cathlics may balk at the idea, is definatly valid and already officialy recognized. Don't confuse the claim of equality to, with the claim of being the Pope. The latter is a false claim as there is only one Pope... I am simply not less then the Pope.

Further, one of many ancient principles such an action should/could be rooted in, and that is found in the majority of all religions, spiritual philosophies, is that a human beings body is the "Temple not built by hands".

Your body is quite literaly a 'state' that exists within the Universe, on Earth.

You, the Soul, created your body, and in reality, you are the only one in control of your body. So you are the sovereign of this state. This is evidenced by the simple act of changing your mind.

The formal personification (the paper and ink Declaration & Constitution) of your state would not constitute it, it only serves to inform people of the obvious reality, that You exist, and further, to inform them of the not so obvious, your mode of operation.

The problem that most people would have with this is that they would try to retain U.S. citizenship, or State Nationality. This claim is a limitation on your inherent sovereignty (U.S. citizenship more so then State Nationality), that you, of your freewill (or in ignorance), consented to.

Little problem here.

The Vatican, or the Vatican or Lateran States, were a sovereign ecclesiastical monarchy from early in the middle ages. During the various wars of unification and what not that occurred in Italy into the late 1800's the Lateran States shrunk in territory until eventually all that remained was the Vatican area in Rome. For various reasons the new Italian government chose to recognize the Vatican city state and left it at that, and it has survived into the 21st century along with a handful of others that still exist. Italy at one time was a collection of small city states that were eventually collapsed into the modern state of Italy. The Vatican is not and never has been a corporation sole in the sense they exist today. In fact, the corporation sole was a legalistic method developed in the 19th century to allow the various episcopal churches to hold property in the manner in which they wished, i.e. in their Bishop's names in trust for the church as a whole.

A corporation sole, if it is even allowed by your state’s laws-and in several states they do not exist, is only a legal vehicle for a church organization to own or hold property and control succession. There is nothing magical about a corporation sole other than the legal rules it operates under which are somewhat different from any other corporation. It is still subject to all same state and federal reporting requirements and laws as any other corporation.

Notorial dissent good point about the corporate sole.

A corporate sole is a statutory creature. This is not an instrument I would look at to formalize a sovereign state, it is a product of one after it has been formalized.

For sake of diplomacy, the idea of a pure trust, seeing as how it can provide an interface to the international commercial world, could be a good tool.

I would have to say though, when I look at the foundational documents of other sovereign states, many use a combination of a declaration & constitution.

Not that anyone has to walk the beaten path, yet there are times that custom & tradition should be honored.

Path of least resistance...
