There seems to be a contradiction there. The Taliban was the Afgan governing body. They did belong to a State - hell, they were the State.

Ya, this is a simple matter of the U.S attempting to make it sound like they have the authority to arrest anyone they want for whatever reason, and this is their flimsy excuse.

"Oh, so you're not an Iraqi, then we can torture you and jail you forever legally", nope...sorry, that's unbelievably illegal, and complete facism to ignore basic human rights like that.

Hell Ice, not only that, but they were the State put into place by the US (United Slavemasters) govenrment!
