Re:
I cannot wait to see the court's ruling on this case, this will be monumental, either way.
I think everyone knows who I am cheering for!

If so, there are no absolutes, and the only logical conclusion is that reality, truth, and right and wrong are determined arbitrarily on a daily basis by those with the most power, guns, and money, and the rest of us can choose to run, fight, or be their slaves.

Re:
Not a gambling man, but here's the mindset of most people:
Most--the vast majority of people in this country--will take the cop's side. And they'll do so because they believe, practice, and expect others to live by, that stupid damned notion of:
"Gee. You wouldn't mind cooperating if you have nothing to hide."
Oh, I done got myself all worked up. Be ranting the rest of the night....
Hope they bury the cop. (Of course, he'll rely on the equally popular and accepted: "Hey, I was just doing my job.")
What a country. People who are "just doing their jobs" trying to force the rest of us to do whatever they say because we wouldn't mind "unless we're hiding something."
I'm going to fix me a steak and baked potato.

Re:
I know exactly how you feel... and what you're thinking...
But instead of a steak & potatoe I'll bet you're really thinking of grabbin' a few of the idiots and pushing their face into reality... and they can take that "you'd cooperate if you have nothing to hide" crap and stick where the sun don't shine.
Right?
Yeah, I'm with you on that one... 'cept I'd probably be a bit more violent about it&if I were in the mood I am at this precise moment.& I'm really getting tired of dealing with the idiots that are part of the problem ... the sheeple that stupidly assist the evil empire...
I'm sure you know where I'm coming from.

Re:
Yes, Sir, Ice, I sure do.
The more I "un-learn" about this country the more disgusted I get. Starts with a simple observation:
We fought a war to gain our independence, and the first things that happens is our "new" government" does is give itself the power to tax, keeps the "common law" of the defeated country, AND let's the defeated enemy (King whoever) dictates the terms of "surrender"?
With that as the beginning, can't do anything but go downhill.
Four years of battling tax agents has, by reason of coming in contact with people like you, made me realize we're in the midst of second "revolution." Regrettably, this one's being fought on an individual basis. Me? I'm about to take my ol' 18-wheeler and drive it right up an agent's butt! Tax that, right?
