KEWL FIND. Check it out.

I am reading a book on local (county) history, and it says:

"When New York voted to accept the Constitution, it said [New York said in it's acceptance]- "That the powers of government may be reassumed by the people whensoever it shall become necessary to their happiness."

"Also Virginia, in its acceptance said- 'That powers granted under the Constitution, being derived from the people of the United States, may be resumed by them whensoever the same shall be perverted to their injury, or oppression."

As Prof. Jim said, "Just because we said you could do it doesn't mean we can't do it for you if you refuse."

Kewl !! So are you saying . . .

Are you saying that it is time to dissolve the political bands which have connected us with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle us?

No dissolution needed really, from my experience. Just assume your role.
