ARTICLE XIII GENERAL PROVISIONS


&- SECTION 4. SOVEREIGN IMMUNITY ABOLISHED
& Except as the General Assembly may provide by law,
sovereign immunity in this State is abolished.

Are you not free?

is there any law that man can pass that can take away your freedom?

Do they have despotical power?

How can someone take which you cannot even give if you wanted to?

I took it to mean that elected officials and the such were no longer under the protection of the "State's" sovereign immunity. Now I'm not so sure.&

I think they are referring to their "office" and not the human being.
