In South Dakota, the legislation is on on the 2006 ballot, by initiative, as a Constitutional Amendment to the South Dakota Constitution.
It is good law based upon the sovereignty of the People, and our unalienable right and duty to "alter and abolish," as set forth in the Declaration of Independence, (and which appears as part of the state Constitution of New Hampshire at least, and perhaps a few other states also..).
It is very important that those who support the legislation do whatever they can to help get it into South Dakota's Constitution, as once we win in one state, other initiative states will surely follow suit.
The judges and lawyers are already howling and slinging mud at it, as well as throwing their wealth and power into defeating it.
We The People need and deserve a way to hold runaway, and unaccountable judicial power accountable directly to We The People.
JAIL provides for this, and we need it as a Constitutional Amendment.
Anyone willing to help in South Dakota, in any way would be most appreciated.
If people will get behind it and push, we have a very good possibility of succeeding in South Dakota.

I highly reccomend visiting the link above for South Dakota, as well as the link for the national organization posted by squirrel. Please, if nothing else, study the materials, and ask to be put on a list to receive our e-mails.
I very strongly urge all people who love our country to join JAIL.
Please do not take my word for it, but read what the author has written, and what is happening in South Dakota.
The legislation was written in response to the same kinds of issues that have brought many to this forum.
I consider that anything I am doing and learning here (and I have learned a great deal that I am using) to be a stop-gap compared to what I am convinced passage of JAIL can, will, and must accomplish.
I placed the link on another post, and there was no response, so I have been hesitant to make any mention of it on suijuris.
However, another member has now posted, and I want to post my comment.
Please read the legislation, and study what the author and supporters have to say about it, rather than just what I have to say.
