UPC code sticker added to speeding ticket

An interesting thing arrived in the mail today! A summons for court along with a photocopy of the original contract (speeding ticket). Something has been added to the bottom left hand corner... it looks like a sticker was placed on the contract. This sticker apppears to be a bar code with numbers at the top, also there is an initial to the right of the bar code. Does anyone know what this could be? Is there a way that I can upload this for viewing?
