Cites - four corners doctrine and motions to dismiss

<font color=darkblue face=tahoma>Thanks, SJ

This is a great summary of the doctrine. I've saved it for more study later.

Cites - four corners doctrine and motions to dismiss

SJ

This four corners only seems to refer to a dismissal based on failure to state a claim

If there are other reasons to dismiss - lack of subject matter juris. insufficiency of process etc. does the four corners also apply?

Cites - four corners doctrine and motions to dismiss

Sadie;

It don't say you can only enter ONE motion! Do your own thing! I submitted, I think four and a petition on top, with numerous judicial notices etc.

Ever notice that four corner box you sign the ticket in so as to seperate it from the NAME. Tada. I mentioned that four corner little box before... I am glad to see others know of it. I used it to get a dinner at half off!!!

With a faulty pleading the motion is a want of subject matter jurisdiction motion to dismiss. It is never waivable and can be raised at any time.

Four corner as I know it reffers to the four corners of a castle where a transaction occures. As well as the law of flags the law of four corners says that jurisdiction exists for he who has four established corners be it corners of walls or four errected flags. Since it has come to be that a four corner box or the actual corners of a peice of paper now indicate different space or jurisdiction.
